What does 'licensed' Thrive Programme® Coach mean? The Thrive Programme is a psycho-educational training programme developed from over 30 years of evidence-based clinical practice and research. As a licensed Thrive Programme coach, I have trained with Rob Kelly, the creator of The Thrive Programme and James Woodworth, The Thrive Programme Coach Trainer. I have completed The Thrive Programme Coach Training Course and am a member of the Association of Thrive Programme Coaches (ATPC). I abide strictly by the Thrive Programme code of ethics (CoE) and attend workshops, conferences and online training sessions, to improve the quality of service I offer to my clients. Another prerequisite to achieving my license to practice is that I have been through The Thrive Programme, experiencing first-hand how life-changing, practical and applicable learning to thrive is. Being an ex-client offers me compassion, empathy and understanding that other practitioners may not realise. Having been through my journey of change, I can testify first-hand to what it is like to go through the programme and experience change. As a coach, it is my job to amplify your learning experience, motivate you to stay on track, share perspective and support you to overcome challenges confidently. Coaching brings accountability and motivation to the table, driving you forward in tough times when you may struggle to find perspective. Will it work for my issues? It depends... If you want to cure poor vision or other medical symptoms, this isn't the programme for you - if you find a programme that cures poor vision, let me know! However, if life feels unpredictable, you are suffering from mental health related symptoms and issues, such as depression, crippling anxiety, trauma, fatigue, poor sleep, weight management or are controlled by addiction - you can learn to Thrive! Will I need extra sessions? As a licensed coach, I deliver the programme in 6-8 weekly sessions. The programme contains everything you need and nothing you do not in order to get thriving. After this, you will have 6 weeks off, 'flying solo', with a few catch ups here and there as you put what you have learned into practice. If you have Emetophobia, it is 8 sessions. I will coach you through everything you need to know so you have confidence thriving alone. If you need a few extra sessions to get something, that's cool - I won't kick you out after week 6. Ideally, you won't get to week 6 without knowing everything you need to know, I won't let that happen. To find out how I can help you, please book an initial consultation

What makes the programme so different?Traditional psychotherapy, counselling and other psychological interventions can focus on analysing your past experiences, releasing 'bottled-up' trauma and 'bad energy'. You will then have to expose yourself slowly to desensitise how you feel around severe subject matter relating to your symptoms. More importantly, it isn't necessarily fun, engaging or insightful and can leave clients powerless without their therapists. Also, if you had Depression, PTSD and Aerophobia, you'd probably see multiple practitioners for each symptom. The Thrive Programme® couldn't be more different. We don't need to talk about your past - when you go through the programme, you will understand why You don't have to see different coaches for multiple symptoms - all symptoms in one programme. You will understand why you have your symptoms. Only when you know why, can you make lasting positive change. I measure your progress from start to finish so you know what to work on between sessions. There are no surprises. If you have a phobia, you don't have to expose yourself to your fear to get over your fear - e.g., if you have a fear of flying, you don't need to get on a plane. When you complete the programme, you will deserve a holiday and feel confident getting on a plane. It's fun! Evidence-based. Every component of The Thrive Programme® has been constructed from research and pulling experience from clinical practice. The content is updated and developed using the latest research in mental health and well-being. What if I fail at the programme? You can't 'fail' at the programme. Learning to thrive is something you do. It is a choice, an active decision. Now, I'm not being pedantic - this isn't semantics. Seriously, ask yourself this question: "Have I ever failed at making my bed?" You either make it or you don't. Whether you make it scruffy or immaculately is in the eye of the beholder. The bottom line is either you made it, or you didn't - but you didn't 'fail' at making your bed. As mentioned, thriving is a choice - you either do it or you don't. It isn't something you can fail at. If you follow the programme and my coaching, work hard and do the homework between sessions, you can thrive. It's that simple. What if I am Neurodiverse? You can still do the programme! I'm diagnosed with a combined type ADHD with ASD traits. My diagnosis gave explanation to some events in my childhood and current traits I experience in life, it hasn't stopped me from learning to thrive and get the most out of my mind and life. On the contrary, the Thrive Programme has enabled me to embrace my diagnosis and love life through it. Thriving translates to flourishing vigorously in the circumstances we find ourselves to the best of our ability. 60%-100% of neurodiverse diagnosis can also have comorbidities (more than one diagnosis / secondary symptom present), which can include Depression, Anxiety, low self-esteem, OCD, and others. The Thrive Programme® can reduce and often help the sufferer overcome many of these comorbidities. To find out how I can help you, please book an initial consultation

I am taking medication for my symptom - will the programme still work? The programme works, but I cannot advise you on your medication. I am a licensed Thrive Programme® Coach - I teach people to Thrive using The Thrive Programme® I am NOT a medical professional, therefore, if you're on a daily routine of pharmaceuticals, then I suggest you follow the guidelines from your doctor, psychiatrist or titration nurse. You can do the programme on or off prescribed drugs (drug dependant) The Thrive Programme® requires dedication, time and effort. Whilst the programme is simple, that doesn't necessarily mean easy. It will take consistent work. If you're being titrated, that can take time to get a baseline of what feels normal, especially if you are on psychosomatics or stimulants. How long does the programme take? The Thrive Programme® takes 6-8 weeks to complete. This is the right amount of time to learn the programme at pace, without overloading your mind and enabling you to implement what you learn each week. If you do some here, and some there, you will get unpredictable results, which isn't what we want. Together, we will keep momentum in your learning, enabling you to stay focused and achieve your goals. 6 weeks ensures quality and depth of understanding that empowers robust change, further enabling you to apply it confidently, promoting a sense of power and control in your newfound skill-set. I don't want you to 'miraculously' get better and not know why you got better. It's all about empowering you to understand why, so you can make lasting positive change. Can I fit the programme around a busy lifestyle? The short answer is yes, but... If you have a holiday in the next few weeks or have a few projects on, I would recommend enjoying them first! When going through The Thrive Programme you must be fully committed. I will not take anyone through who can't make learning to thrive their number one priority for 6-8 weeks - it isn't worth it and I would be doing you, and the Thrive Programme, a disservice. If you want to get over your symptoms and change your life, it will take persistent and consistent effort. Whilst The Thrive Programme isn't a full-time endeavour, you must be revising the course content for at least 30 minutes a day. For the rest of the day, you should be practising your skillset, thinking about what I have taught you and implementing what you have learned - in other words, studying and immersing yourself in it. Learning to overcome your symptoms and thrive is simple. Simple does not mean easy. As your coach, it is my job to keep you motivated, help you overcome hurdles and get you loving life. As a client, your role is to show up on time, apply what you are learning and keep developing your skill set outside the sessions. To find out how I can help you, please book an initial consultation

I run my practice from home in Bristol, United Kingdom, mainly working with my clients over Zoom for practicality and convenience. However, I'm flexible should you wish to meet face-to-face if this is realistic for you.
Delivering the programme this way is as effective - if not better - than face-to-face, as it allows my clients to fully engage with the content in a safe and familiar setting.
